Requirements
Requirements is the core of your system, storing the requirements you must adhere to for a given framework, or standard.
Requirement Dashboard
The Requirements Dashboard shows all of the Requirements in the system with a graphical overview of the status of the Requirement(s).
You can click on one of the Requirements to view the requirement tree.
You can open each sub-requirement by either clicking on it in the side-bar, or scrolling down on the first page to the Sub Requirements section.
Requirement Actions
Some sub-requirements may have regular or once off tasks associated with them. To add an action to a requirement, first open the page for the sub-requirement.
Scroll down the page to the Actions section. Click on the blue button that says, "New Action" and select an action type from the drop-down menu.
Fill in the details, ensuring there is at least one Master Question and click Submit to save.
Creating Requirements
You can create new requirements from the Requirements Dashboard. To do this, click the blue Create New Requirement button on the top right of the page.
From the drop-down menu, select a type of requirement. You can create new types of requirements in the Pages section under System Config.
Fill out the details and click Submit to save. If you selected the wrong requirement type, you can change it using the drop-down menu at the top next to the Requirement Type field.
Creating Sub-Requirements
To create sub-requirements, click on the requirement you want to make sub-requirements for.
Under the Sub Requirements section, click Create New Sub-requirement and fill in the details.
Click Submit to save.
Keep repeating this until you have created all the sub-requirements.
The requirement tree will appear on the sidebar on the left side of the page.
Closing Requirements
Before you can close a requirement, all the actions and sub requirements must be closed.
To do this, click Edit on the Action or Sub-Requirement and click Close in the top right corner.
It will prompt you to confirm with a drop-down menu. Click Confirm Close and it will be closed.
Repeat this for other Actions or Sub-Requirements that you would like to close.
All dependents must be closed before a Requirement can be closed. This means all Sub-requirements and Actions associated with them must be closed before you can close the requirement tree
